Government of Sindh has created a Cell with the name of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Housing Cell during the financial year 2008-2009 to provide low cost houses to the destitute families of the province of Sindh.

Initially this cell remain administrative control of Chief Minster’s Secretariat till 2017 wherein from 2017 till date Administratively controlled By Local Government & House Town Planning Department.

This Cell Constructed 18,700 Housing Units covering in three phases of construction each of 6000 across the province of Sindh.

Phase I@II constructed under Chief Minister Administration (12700 Units)

Phase III being Administratively Controlled by Local Government & House Town Planning Department.
